JRP Ergonomics was established in 1995 to provide quality ergonomics services in the UK. These services primarily include litigation, training and consultancy. Although the emphasis and expertise is focused on musculoskeletal problems suffered by workers, the Company can also provide ergonomics support in a wide range of areas through a network of specialist associates.

Based in Surrey, JRP Ergonomics provides services to a large number of organisations across the UK, from major banking institutions in the City of London to companies with offices or factories throughout the country.

We design our services to suit your particular needs whether on an ad hoc or retainer basis. Over the years, the projects undertaken have been notable for their variety, both in terms of content and duration. In order to serve the needs of the commissioning organisation and to address the problems that exist at that time, the package offered is necessarily tailored to the specific needs of the situation. 

There are many organisations that offer standard services (such as display screen equipment or manual handling assessments), and indeed, 'off-the-shelf' services like these are available from us and are advertised on this site. However, a greater depth of expertise is available to help you address problems that may have become intractable, or which require a more in-depth knowledge of the issues.

Personnel

JRP Ergonomics was set up, and is run by, its principal ergonomist and Fellow of the Institute of Ergonomics & Human Factors, John Ridd. John carries out all litigation work and is involved in all consultancy work, either overseeing projects or having direct practical involvement. He is assisted in the consultancy work by Tina Worthy, an experienced consultant ergonomist, and Registered Member of the Institute of Ergonomics & Human Factors.

JRP Training is a division of JRP Ergonomics, and is a partnership between John and Tina. Courses and training programmes may be run by with the assistance of associates Leslie Hawkins and Val Woods.
